Our family restaurant 'Drakania' is situated in idyllic scenery 3 kilometres inland away from the hustle and bustle of Platanias main high street.
The restaurant is set under trees and beside the river Iordanis We have a wealth of experience in traditional Greek cuisine and have been following recipes that were used by our grandparents.
We grow many of the ingredients used in our kitchen....all members of the family are bilingual Greek/ English and play an important role within the restaurant.
Manolis who had the foresight of building the restaurant on his family land in the year 2000, his wife Teresa originally from England but after 30 years together, has adapted and contributed enormously to the organization of the restaurant.
Their children Peter and Manolia who are the wholesome reason that the restaurant survives with so much passion. Taki and Licorice the family dogs complete the family team!
